Diets Don't Work

Dieting is kind of like painting over rusty, cracked walls and expecting it to look good. Eventually the rust comes right back and you have to paint over it again. Diets are tricky. They can work for a short time, but the weight comes back 95% of the time.

I’ve tried them all. Starting at 10 years old, I was going to weight watchers with my mom.


The Reverse Approach

Food is complex in today’s society. The supermarket is harder to navigate than ever before, with lots of mixed messages about what’s healthy and what’s not. The choices are overwhelming, and foods we are most drawn to give us the least energy, which leads to even worse food choices.

You shouldn’t have to be a scientist to know how to eat healthy.
